Design: The Connection Opportunity
design
dataviz
This two-year study surveyed over 6,000 Americans on what it takes to connect across lines of race, religion, class, and political difference. The headline finding is both simple and underappreciated: most Americans want to connect across difference, and the biggest barrier isn’t hostility; it’s a lack of opportunity.
Working with a graphic designer, I provided design direction, contributed substantially to the data visualization, and made slide decks, working to ensure the visual presentation matched the clarity and ambition of the research.
